Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She was raised alongside 12 other kids. The vivid imagination of her mother helped her escape from the pressures of daily life. Prior to learning how to read or write she wrote her own music. Within 8 years she got her first guitar. In the age of 11 when she was 11, she began singing at the Knoxville Tennessee radio station. In the following time, Gold Band Records was a tiny independent record label. While she was an established local celebrity while at the high school years, her goals were greater. The day she graduated from high school, it was 1964. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) and Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female singer to join his syndicated show in the years prior to this. Parton accepted the job in 1967 and signed to RCA Records in 1968 and was a part of in the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. In 1974, she resigned from The Wagoner's Show due to the popularity of her singles like Joshua Coats from Many Colors or Jolene was way ahead of their joint release.
